This ward is equipped with endoscopic and colonoscopic devices, as well as cautery for polypectomy.
The activities performed in this ward is as follows:
-Endoscopy and colonoscopy for outpatients and inpatients
-Biopsy and polypectomy if necessary
-Control of gastrointestinal bleeding
-Diagnosis of gastrointestinal tumors
-Implantation of PEGs for ICU patients.
-Endoscopy and colonoscopy at the discretion of gastroenterologists, if necessary, under anesthesia.
-PRG implantation for patients who need tube feeding.
-Simultaneous polypectomy is performed for patients who have polyps during colonoscopy.
How to use endoscopic and colonoscopic services:
At first, the patient is consulted by the doctor of Moheb Mehr Hospital Clinic and the relevant request is given to the patient by the doctor.
Patients book an appointment by telephone before endoscopy or colonoscopy and are required to comply with the items mentioned by the treating doctor.
In case of using different types of insurance, the patient refers to the relevant unit with his/her medical services booklet. If the patient does not have a medical services booklet and can utilize supplementary insurance, due to the variety of contracts and insurance companies, it is necessary to have a letter of recommendation from the insurance company to use the laboratory services.
